Matt DeSilva, co-owner of Guitar Man, is a veteran of New York City’s legendary 48th Street and managed the guitar department at Manny’s Music for 5 years. Growing tired of the corporate takeover of the block, he set out to open a smaller, more intimate store where every customer can get the personal attention they deserve and get all their questions answered by a knowledgeable sales staff. He wanted to open a store he would shop at. Joined by his partner, Thomas Frankel and expert repairman Aaron Trigg (also a 48th Street veteran), that store has now become a reality
